A mixture of compost and seed was applied with the Express Blower to an eroding stream bank near a bike path. It immediately stabilised the slope and held it over the long-term with established vegetation. The entire process took about one hour. The area was kept open to the public during germination, and even though it was disturbed by dogs and other animals, the seed sprouted into an effective erosion control layer.
Blanket Erosion Control using mulch materials.
Scotbark’s Express Blower System can be used in conjunction with systems such as Filtrexx. These erosion control tubes have successfully recreated natures own process of dealing with Erosion and Sediment Control while limiting the introduction and permanence of synthetic material such as Silt Fence.
Filtrexx™ Products and Environmental Solutions are designed and repeatedly tested to ensure Filtrexx and industry standards of quality and functionality. Utilizing these compost erosion control socks in various arrangements, allows Filtrexx to handle many of the common issues associated with Phase II Compliance.
