The Express Blower
Equipped with pneumatic blowing equipment and a large capacity, flexible hose, our Express Blower trucks are used to spread materials across large areas, quickly and effectively. We can effortlessly spread bark, wood chip, compost, and blended soils directly onto your specified surface, giving precise placement of materials and a clean, professional finish. Hard To Reach Areas
It's ideal for hard to reach areas, where heavy plant equipment is prohibited or where access is restricted to enclosed grounds. The truck's flexible hose can be run over fences and walls, and through pathways and gates to reach your site - only the hose and our operator need direct access. We've installed onto steep embankments and roof terraces; into enclosed courtyards and play areas.
Express Mulching
With the Express Blower, you can take an entirely new approach to the application of mulch materials. We can spread bark, wood chip, compost, and wood fibres in a fraction of the time taken to spread materials by hand. The remote controlled flow of materials means our operator can reduce or increase airflow as required across delicate and open areas - protecting flower beds and any planted materials.
Express Safety Surfacing
We install large quantities of Play Bark, Play Chip and Play Sand for schools, nurseries and local authorities across the UK. With the Express Blower, set-up, installation and tidy can be completed in a matter of hours ensuring minimum disruption to site use. Remote play areas and enclosed playgrounds can be covered quickly and effectively, delivering value for money on even small maintenance projects.
Express Terraseeding
Considered the most effective seeding process of today, Terraseeding is perfect for new lawn installation, lawn renovation, or for top dressing an existing lawn. Our patented “Supplemental Injection System” provides a precisely calibrated injection of seed into the primary compost or soil mix, for effortless terraseeding. This unique process yields faster, provides more uniform germination and produces healthier turf.
Express Green Roofs
As their environmental and financial benefits become renowned, Green Roofs are becoming increasingly popular. In 2013, we were contracted to install growing media for the Green Roof of The SSE Hydro in Glasgow. The installation was specified as a containment system to retain material on steep angles and protect against wind blow. Using the Express Blower, we filled 18,000 metres of Filtrexx Soxx, which now encircle the prestigious arena.
Express Erosion Control
The Express Blower can be used in conjunction with erosion control systems such as Filtrexx. Designed and tested to comply with industry standards of quality and functionality, Filtrexx Soxx recreate nature’s own process of sediment and erosion control. Express Enclosures
The Express Blower can apply materials such as sawdust and wood shavings directly into animal stalls and arenas, freeing up the valuable time and labour required to spread materials manually. Materials can also be applied within buildings several stories high, such as large commercial poultry barns. The Express Blower was used to install materials at Edinburgh Zoo's World Class Chimpanzee Enclosure, "The Budongo Trail".
